1. Who We Are

This website and its services are provided by The Wuor Studio, operated by Nyakhan Wuor ("the Studio", "we", "us").
The Studio is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. That means we decide why and how your information is used, and we are responsible for protecting it.

Contact and inquiry details: your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name, the type of support you are interested in, and any message you send.
Discovery call requests: your name, email, business name, preferred call times, and any notes.
Support tool input: the description of your business needs you type into the "Find Your Mix" tool.
Purchase details: your name, email, business name, the package bought, and the amount. Card and payment details are collected directly by our payment provider, Paddle, and are never seen or stored by us.
Account details: if you sign in to a Studio account, your email address and sign-in information.
Technical data: basic device and browser information, IP address, and usage data collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and site operation.
Support communications: emails and messages you send us.

To respond to inquiries and call requests and to prepare quotes — based on your request and our legitimate interest in replying to you.
To deliver the services you buy, manage your account, and communicate about your work — based on performing our contract with you.
To generate a suggested support mix from the description you enter — based on your request. Your text is processed by an AI provider only to produce that suggestion.
To send transactional emails such as inquiry confirmations, welcome emails, and payment notices — based on contract performance and legitimate interest.
To keep the website secure and prevent fraud or abuse — based on our legitimate interests.
To keep business, tax, and accounting records — based on legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Service providers that help us run the website and business, such as website hosting, database storage, email delivery, and AI processing. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale of our services, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing. Paddle processes your information under its own privacy notice.
Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
Authorities, regulators, or courts where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Some of our service providers store or process data outside your province or country, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

Inquiries and call requests that do not become work are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Client and purchase records are kept for as long as we work together and then for as long as required for tax and legal purposes (generally up to 7 years in Canada).
When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
You may withdraw consent where we rely on it, object to certain uses, and ask for a copy of your information in a portable format where applicable.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy regulator.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to stored records, and sign-in controls on our private dashboard. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

This website uses only essential cookies and similar browser storage needed for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and running the checkout. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.

When we handle your customers' information as part of our services, we act only on your instructions. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis and any consents required for that data.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
